 · The Driver Academy Group, a consortium led by HGV training specialist HGVC, and comprising workforce solutions group Manpower and trade body Logistics UK, has won the lead role on a Government scheme to train and place 11, HGV drivers across England.  · Training schemes tackle HGV driver shortages. A number of training schemes have been launched across the waste management industry in an attempt to tackle the shortage of heavy goods vehicle (HGV) drivers.
